Everyone knows that a police officer's job is RISKY and sometimes life threatening. But when an officer faces a dangerous situation, he or she will "assist" other fellow officers to provide aid and assistance.

The Dallas Police Association (DPA) reinforces the Assist The Officer Foundation by providing emotional, financial and physical duties for officers in need.

The mission of the Assist The Officer Foundation is to provide immediate financial assistance to the officers who face severe physical injuries or unexpected death, develop a life-threatening illness, or who experience unfortunate events which would cause hardships on their families.

The Assist The Officer Foundation Board of Directors consists of a group of active, retires and reserve members of the Dallas Police Association.
